THE CREATIVE SPIRIT OF LIGHT
At Salerno Design Week 2026, a light installation in which five
DOLCEVITA lamps converse with each other and engage in dialogue with the audience,
at the Pottergeist exhibition, held at the Pinacoteca Provinciale in Palazzo Pinto.
Lamps like lightweight sculptures, alike yet distinct from one other become characters in search of validation and, at the same time, answers.
The light expands color, becoming symbolic, a blend of emotion,
intimacy and character:
individualities emerging within a small, shared community.
LIGHT BETWEEN SOUL AND HEART
DOLCEVITA was created in 2011 using TYVEK®, a recyclable and durable material
which visually possesses the beauty and natural quality of rice paper.
By freely manipulating the large diffuser, it is possible to customize
the lamp’s body and its lighting effect.
Every shape created remains imprinted, but can be easily changed by reshaping it.
DOLCEVITA is white, but for the exhibition
the application of overlapping dichroic filters enabled the creation
of subtle colour effects, to create an original, poetic and evocative effect.
